ModernThis website explores Jazz Trumpet players. There is no scientific way to select the players. I simply chose the players I felt were the best or were excellent representatives. The site is divided into several eras of jazz history: Traditional, Big Band, Bebop, Modern, and Fusion. Each player will have a short biography, a transcribed solo, an audio clip, and a short explanation of the player’s style. The list will be growing. Additional trumpet players will be added.
