Fusion

Trumpeter and composer Miles Davis had the greatest influence on the development of jazz fusion by a single individual. In 1969, Davis introduced the full-blown electric instrument approach to jazz with In a Silent Way, which can be considered Davis's first fusion album. Much of 1970s fusion was performed by by bands started by the Davis alumni.

There were several influencial bands that included trumpets. They are Blood, Sweat, and Tears, Brecker Brothers, and Chase. Trumpeters in these groups are Lew Soloff, Randy Brecker, and Bill Chase

The list will be growing.  Additional trumpet players will be added. Hope you enjoy.
